A fully-guided workshop experience.
What skills do students need to participate?
None! Our workshops don’t require any prior musical or instrumental experience. Just let us know the level of your group, and we’ll tailor the session to suit. For higher levels (GCSE, A-level), we help students build on their existing skills while introducing new techniques and ideas to take things further.
What's involved?
Every workshop is centred around one big goal: writing a song together as a group.
Younger students will get more musical support so they can focus on having fun and getting creative without feeling overwhelmed. Older or more experienced students will be guided through a more in-depth process, encouraging them to challenge themselves musically while building on the foundations they already have.
We also use fun group improvisation games and creative exercises to warm everyone up and get the ideas flowing — turning the group into a collaborative songwriting team before they even realise it.
And the best part?
Your class will be too busy making music to notice they’re learning transferable life skills. From communication and confidence to collaboration and creative thinking, our workshops encourage students to express themselves — and enjoy the process.
Do I need to get involved?
You’re welcome to join in or simply observe — either way, we’ll handle the running of the session so you can take a break (or catch up on that marking!). We also provide worksheets and follow-up activities to help extend learning beyond the workshop itself.
Which age ranges do we cover?
We offer sessions for:
- Key Stage 2 & 3: A fun, accessible intro to expression through song.
- GCSE & A-Level: More technical exploration, plus creative inspiration for coursework and beyond.
- Colleges & BTEC students: Bespoke sessions adapted to suit your course outcomes.

Designed to help A-level students build confidence with the creative process, this workshop harnesses the group’s existing skills to collaboratively write a song. Every participant gets a chance to contribute ideas, with a focus on developing the tools they need to approach their coursework with confidence.
